Léa Pilsner is a Policy Advisor in E3G’s Brussels office. Her role focuses on the emerging European Green Deal diplomacy and the acceleration of the global clean economy transition with an active focus on the EU’s Global Gateway.

Léa’s work as a policy advisor is interested in the EU’s contribution to supporting the clean economy transition and sustainable development abroad.

As part of her role, Léa works with varied constituencies to build coalitions, deliver impact-driven outcomes and cutting-edge political analysis to support Europe’s role in global decarbonisation.

Léa holds a PhD from the University of Leeds in political science where her thesis investigated EU-China sustainable energy cooperation. She also holds an MA from the University of Hamburg and a double BA from Sciences Po Strasbourg and Trinity College Dublin.

Léa enjoys discovering local wildlife, walks in the park and Chinese cuisine.
