Elina Pihlajamӓki
Policy Advisor
Elina is a Policy Advisor in E3G’s Clean Economy programme. She focuses on green industrial policy and the decarbonisation of industry.
Elina’s work includes research, as well as working with NGOs, industry and policymakers to better align EU industrial policy with the green transition.
Prior to joining E3G, Elina worked in a consultancy in Brussels, advising clients in energy-intensive sectors on EU sustainability and climate policies. She has also previously worked on EU trade and investment policy at CAN Europe and in the Trade and Economic Affairs team at the EU Delegation to India.
Elina holds an LLM in International Law from the University of Cambridge and has also completed an MA in Politics and International Relations and an LLB in Global Law. In her free time, she enjoys running and reading.
