Senior Policy Advisor

Ujunwa is a Senior Policy Advisor working on energy transition in E3G’s Fossil Fuel Transition team.

Ujunwa provides strategic and technical assistance advice as a key member of the secretariat of the Energy Transition Council (ETC) providing thought leadership to the council, and strategic advice for the delivery of the councils Rapid Response Facility (RRF).

She was most recently an Advisor to the Commissioner for Energy & Mineral Resource, Lagos State Government (in Nigeria) responsible for planning, devising, and implementing the State’s policies on Energy and Mineral Resources. She is a Trustee of Solar Aid and mostly recently was recognised as one of the 21 women heroes working to end energy poverty by Power For All (2021), among others.

Ujunwa has recently completed a master’s programme in Public Policy at the University of Oxford, along with a previous master’s in Development Finance from the University of Manchester and a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria.

In her spare time Ujunwa enjoys travelling and exploring new places, playing lawn tennis and is a continuous learner of salsa and French.
