Programme Lead - Public Banks & Development
Chiara is the Programme Lead for Climate Finance and European Investment Strategy at E3G.
Her work focuses on shaping Europe’s approach to climate finance and investment, with a particular focus on the European Investment Bank, while also leading E3G’s engagement on the future of international climate and development finance across G7, UNFCCC, and broader donor geographies.
Before joining E3G, Chiara spent nearly eight years as a Climate Finance Policy Analyst and Special Adviser to the Environment Director at the OECD in Paris, where she worked at the intersection of climate finance policy and international climate negotiations, leading OECD analyses on international climate finance goals. Prior to the OECD, she completed an internship at the UNFCCC Secretariat, where she worked on carbon markets.
Chiara is also a co-founder of Duegradi, an Italian web magazine dedicated to climate communication.
She holds a Master’s in International Development from Sciences Po Paris and a Bachelor’s in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
In her spare time, Chiara enjoys reading and writing, adventurous travelling, diving, and boxing.
