Simon Skillings
Senior Associate
Simon is an E3G Senior Associate. He provides advice and thought leadership on all aspects of the energy system transition including regulation, market design and innovation requirements.
The primary focus of this work is the EU and UK and he has written extensively on the challenges and opportunities of transforming the energy system in line with a net zero emissions target.
He is also Director of his advisory company Trilemma UK and a teaching associate at Warwick Business School.
Simon has a long history of corporate roles in the energy industry including five years as Director of Strategy and Policy at E.ON UK.
He has a Physics degree from Oxford University and a PhD awarded by the Council of National Academic Awards.
He is a keen gardener, enjoys all sports, and tries to keep as fit.
