Kaysie Brown
Associate Director - Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics
Kaysie Brown leads E3G’s work on Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics, working with a wide range of public and private stakeholders to support ambitious diplomatic outcomes and to keep climate high on the geopolitical agenda across governments and key decision-makers.
Kaysie has over twenty years’ of experience as a foreign policy diplomat, researcher, and practitioner. She served in key roles in the Obama and Biden Administrations, including negotiator on pandemics and Chief of Staff to the U.S. delegation negotiating the successful outcome of the Sustainable Development Goals. Kaysie was also the Vice President for Policy & Strategic Initiatives at the United Nations Foundation and led programs at the Council on Foreign Relations, the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, and the Center for Global Development.
She has a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford and has written extensively on issues relating to geopolitics, development, security, and global cooperation.
