Robi Ginting
Policy Advisor
Robi Ginting is a policy advisor working on Indonesia’s clean energy transition.

Robi’s work focuses on providing strategic insights and thought leadership on Indonesia’s energy transition and political economy, building and engaging a network of key stakeholders in the country, data analysis, horizon scanning, and contributing to strategy conceptualisation for coal phase-out.
Previously, Robi served as an Energy Policy Analyst for USAID-funded projects under the Sustainable Energy for Indonesia’s Advancing Resilience (SINAR) program, where he supported the Indonesian government in developing policies to accelerate transition finance and promote grid decarbonization. He has also contributed to enhancing emission governance and industrial decarbonisation policies in Indonesia through consultancy roles with various think tanks and multilateral programs.
Robi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from Universitas Gadjah Mada, specialising in environmental law.
Outside of work, Robi enjoys traveling and training in Jiu-Jitsu.
