Kat leads a team working to drive ambition and momentum on power sector transitions and global fossil fuel phaseout across both multilateral venues and through real-economy country and regional outcomes.

She works closely with diplomatic communities, international energy alliances, government decisionmakers, and civil society partners to influence and shape the politics and policy of the global energy transition, with a particular focus on multilateral processes, including the UNFCCC, global coal-to-clean transitions, and international energy finance.

Prior to joining E3G, Kat worked as a Campaign Manager at the Grantham Institute at Imperial College London, where she collaborated with climate scientists and economists to translate research into real-world policy outcomes. Before that, she worked at The Climate Group on external affairs for the RE100 campaign, and in the public affairs team at RenewableUK.

Kat holds an MA in Geography from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She’s an enthusiastic cook, avid reader, and committed knitter, and escapes from London to go hiking whenever she can.
