Jonny Peters is Strategic Programming and Impact Lead at E3G. He supports the leadership team with strategy development and strategic planning, as well as internal communications, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and impact reporting.

As Strategic Programming and Impact Lead, Jonny heads up E3G’s organisational strategy function, reporting to the Chief Programme Officer. Alongside supporting E3G’s organisational strategy development and strategic planning, he also manages internal communications, and leads on monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities and E3G’s impact reporting.
Jonny was E3G’s Chief of Staff from 2024 to 2026. He first joined E3G in 2021 as a Senior Policy Advisor working on trade and climate.
Prior to E3G, Jonny spent five years working in the UK government, ending with COP26. He worked in EU and international climate policy roles in the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy, the Brexit Department, and the UK Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels. Jonny holds an MA in EU International Relations from the College of Europe in Bruges and a BA in International Relations and Politics from the University of Sheffield.
Jonny lives in Brighton. Outside of work, he is into his music, particularly adding to his eclectic record collection.
