Genevieve Marsh
Chief of Staff
As Chief of Staff, Genevieve works closely with E3G’s Executive team and Board. In this role she leads on delivery of E3G’s strategic programmes, including implementing E3G’s new organisational strategy.
Genevieve first joined E3G in 2023, where she was Senior Policy Advisor in the Centre for Political Economy and Climate Change. In this role, she led political economy mapping analysis across key countries (Turkiye, Brazil, and Indonesia), and developed a dynamic model for ongoing insights and country engagement.
Before E3G, Genevieve worked for over six years across government policy and management consulting. In the New South Wales (NSW) State Government in Australia, her policy focus areas were skills, higher education, and infrastructure. In this role she worked on the COVID-19 Taskforce, developing a program called ‘Skilling for Recovery’, which won the NSW Premier’s award for its support to the NSW skills sector and its citizens. Prior to this, Genevieve was a management consultant, working with ASX and NYSE-listed clients to improve business-to-business commercial strategy. In this capacity, she interacted with a range of industries including financial services, wealth management, media, and health sciences.
Genevieve holds a master’s in public policy at the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s (with honours) in Government and International Relations at the University of Sydney. Originally from Sydney, Australia, she loves the beach, practising yoga, and is passionate about theatre and the arts.
