Policy Advisor

Laura is a Policy Advisor within the EU Sustainable Finance team at the E3G Brussels office. She works on how to mobilise public and private finance for achieving a sustainable transition in the EU.

Laura’s work focuses on the policies and frameworks needed to scale sustainable finance in the EU. She also examines the role of public banks in unlocking investment across EU Member States and the links between finance, investment and the real economy across private and public sources in the EU.

Before joining E3G, Laura was a research fellow at the European University Institute School of Transnational Governance where she worked under the EIB Climate Chair. Her previous roles include Senior Associate Researcher at the Brussels School of Governance and Lecturer in International Relations and EU Politics at the UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles. She holds a joint PhD in Political Science from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles.

She enjoys discovering new restaurants, reading and watching British crime tv shows.
