Kate Ryan
Senior Policy Advisor
Kate is a Senior Policy Advisor at E3G and the Strategic Partnerships Manager for the International Transition Plan Network (ITPN).
The ITPN is a global initiative focused on advancing collaboration around private sector transition plans and their integration into policy and regulatory frameworks. Previously, Kate was the International Engagement Lead for the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) Secretariat which was co-hosted by E3G and UK Centre for Greening Finance and investment. The TPT developed a gold standard disclosure framework for private sector transition plans which has been adopted internationally.
Prior to joining E3G, Kate worked on climate change policy across the New Zealand government, including as a Principal Advisor at the Ministry for the Environment and in the office of the Minister of Climate Change.
Kate has a BA in Political Science, Philosophy, and International Relations from the Victoria University of Wellington.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling, and searching for the best decaf coffee in London.
