Senior Policy Advisor

Eunjung is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Clean Economy team, leading E3G’s work on international investment governance.

She leads on developing E3G’s strategy to move the current international investment governance towards a new system that supports cross-border clean energy investment and engaging governments to work together to this end.  

Prior to joining E3G, Eunjung served as a South Korean diplomat for almost a decade. During her time in Seoul, she worked on multiple areas including G20, energy/climate change, international investment agreements and East Asian trade affairs. Between 2017 and 2020, she worked in the Korean Embassy in London, mainly covering UK Foreign Policy.

She holds a MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master in International Studies from the University of Barcelona and a BA in Business Administration from Seoul National University.

In her free time, she enjoys country walks, yoga and gardening.
