Elliott Bourgeault is a Senior Policy Advisor focusing on EU sustainable finance and resilience.
Elliott’s work focuses on demonstrating the benefits of a robust sustainable finance framework for the EU and member states and how to enhance climate resilience across Europe through improved governance and investment.
Prior to joining E3G, Elliott was a Senior Communications Specialist at South Pole and a Senior Policy Analyst facilitating intergovernmental climate cooperation for the Government of British Columbia, Canada. He holds a MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg and a BA in Political Science from the University of Regina.
In his spare time, Elliott enjoys taking his family on long-distance canoe or cycling trips, traditional hand tool woodworking, and playing classical piano.
