Akshay Paonaskar is a Senior Policy Adviser in E3G’s UK Finance & Resilience Team.
| Akshay leads E3G’s work on the UK public finance ecosystem. His work focuses on how to strategically use public finance to crowd-in private capital at scale to achieve climate goals. Before joining E3G, Akshay worked for McKinsey’s Sustainability Practice where he advised public and private sector clients on the energy transition. He previously worked with the UK Government on climate policy, industrial strategy and shaping programmes to attract investment into the UK. Akshay has an MSc in Development Economics from SOAS. Outside of work he enjoys swimming, hiking and travelling. |
