E3G is an independent non-partisan think tank that uses politics, economics and diplomacy to deliver action on climate. It seeks to support the US transition to a thriving economy with new green jobs, cheap renewable energy and a healthy environment that is protected and conserved for the future of humankind.
We argue that the United States should protect its economy and national security by fundamentally transitioning to affordable, renewable clean energy. This move away from costly, dirty fossil fuels will prevent a future of dependency and insecurity. Regardless of which political Administration is in charge, this is critical for the US public and for the world.
E3G seeks to win the politics of climate, to accelerate the energy transition towards a clean economy and to get investment where it matters. All to deliver a safe climate for all. It builds coalitions with a wide range of partners and seeks to harness networks at sector, state, national and international level. By providing analysis and insight to decision makers, and creating communities of interest, E3G generates opportunities for new optimistic narratives, targeted innovation, and positive change for the better.
