Tefta Kelmendi
Programme Lead
Tefta leads the Foreign Policy and Climate Cooperation portfolio within the Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics team at E3G.
Her work focuses on advancing climate action as a long-term strategic priority and foreign policy objective for governments, underlining the continued need for international cooperation and coalition-building across governments, businesses, and civil society. She also contributes to the organisation’s policy insights at the intersection of climate and geopolitics.
Tefta is also an Associate Researcher at the Jacques Delors Institute in Paris and an adjunct lecturer at Sciences Po Dijon. Previously, among other roles, she served as Deputy Director of the Wider Europe Programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations and as a diplomat at the Embassy of Kosovo in Paris.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Security from Sciences Po – Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA).
In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing, exploring architectural sites, and taking long walks in the forest.
