Jurei Yada
Associate Director - Finance and Resilience
Jurei Yada is Associate Director for Finance & Resilience. She leads E3G’s work to accelerate capital flows for the climate transition, in addition to overseeing the organization’s portfolio on climate risk, resilience and adaptation, working in cooperation with other E3G teams.

Jurei is a leading expert on the climate transition and has published extensively on the political and policy conditions required to channel finance for the low carbon transition. She has worked with the G7, G20, national and local governments, financial institutions, corporates and civil society on topics ranging from sustainable finance regulation and development finance to resilience in the built environment. A frequent speaker at major events including at the UN climate conferences, she regularly contributes to debates and media coverage on financial policy, clean energy and technology investments, and climate finance.
Jurei joined E3G in 2022 to head the EU Sustainable Finance program and became Director of Strategic Member State Engagement in 2024, leading E3G’s venue strategy for European countries including France. Previously, Jurei worked at the OECD to advance initiatives on sustainable finance and development data in collaboration with the United Nations, the World Bank, and other bilateral and multilateral institutions. Prior to that, she served as Deputy Head of the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation at the International Energy Agency, where she worked with and advised the G20, national governments and private sector representatives on joint efforts for their energy transitions.
Jurei holds a BA (Honours) in History from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Asian Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
