Lily Hartzell
Senior Policy Advisor
Lily Hartzell is a Senior Policy Advisor on the Public Banks and Development team, working on multilateral diplomacy and climate finance.
Lily develops and executes strategies to deliver ambitious outcomes to scale finance from all sources to reduce emissions and build resilience to climate change.
Before joining E3G, Lily was a climate finance negotiator for the U.S. Department of State. She has also spent several years working on Chinese climate policy in both Beijing and Washington.
Lily holds a Masters in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School and a Bachelors in International Relations and Environmental Studies from Tufts University.
She spends much of her free time outside hiking, biking, and reading, and is always planning her next adventure.
