Zahra Aghazada

Zahra is a Researcher in the Public Banks and Development team.
Her work focuses on how development banks can drive coal transition in Asia, how vulnerable countries access climate adaptation funding, and the part international financial institutions play in unlocking climate finance.
Before E3G, she was a Programme Consultant at UNDP Azerbaijan. She holds a BSc in Business Economics from Lund University and an MSc in Data Science from the University of Bristol. Outside of work she enjoys badminton, painting, traveling, and hiking.
