Elizabeth is a Senior Specialist in E3G’s Sustainable Finance Program. Working with colleagues in the UK and EU, Elizabeth informs and guides E3G’s engagements on US sustainable finance regulatory issues.

Elizabeth develops initiatives and implements policies to foster financial flows towards a safe and just transition to net zero. She engages with E3G staff, domestic and international stakeholders, and international financial regulatory authorities. Top priorities include promoting investor protections, such as enhanced climate related disclosures, and financial system resiliency.

Elizabeth’s professional experience includes leadership roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of International Affairs, as well as work at the U.S. Treasury Department and the U.S. Office of Financial Research. She also served as a capital markets expert during two of the International Monetary Fund’s financial sector assessments of the U.S. (2014-2015 and 2019-2020).

Elizabeth attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia for undergraduate work and obtained a law degree from George Washington University. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys cooking, and sports and recreation with family and friends.
