Angeline is a Senior Policy Advisor on EU Climate Diplomacy and Foreign Policy within the Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics team in E3G’s Brussels office.

Angeline Sanzay

Angeline works to strengthen the EU’s role in driving international climate and energy transitions by ensuring its climate action is effectively leveraged through foreign policy. She engages across a wide spectrum of diplomatic venues and stakeholder communities to shape common strategies and support impactful decision-making. Her work bridges traditional EU climate diplomacy with emerging forms of cooperation that integrate climate objectives into broader foreign and geopolitical agendas.

Previously Angeline worked as a Policy Advisor on EU-China Climate Diplomacy within E3G’s Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics team. Before joining E3G, Angeline worked as a Political Officer for the European Economic and Trade Office in Taipei, Taiwan, where she led the political dialogue on climate and environment and oversaw EU-China relations. Prior to that, Angeline worked for the European Commission’s Directorate General for Climate Action on the early stages of the European Green Deal.

Angeline holds a Master’s degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin and a Master’s degree in Foreign Affairs and Negotiation from the University of Lille.

Angeline loves the outdoors and going on long hikes. She also enjoys practicing yoga, rock climbing, and has a passion for baking (vegan) pastries.
