Taylor Dimsdale is Director of E3G’s Risk and Resilience Program. He works with governments, public institutions, and the private sector to ensure their decision-making is informed by a better understanding of climate risk.

Taylor also works with a broad-based and diverse coalition of organisations to build economic, social and climate resilience.

Taylor’s areas of expertise include risk assessment and management, the geopolitics of decarbonisation, and the implications of climate change for national and international security. He also has experience in sustainable finance and energy policy.  

Before joining E3G, Taylor worked as a consultant for a boutique green financial services firm where he focused on environmental markets and analyzed renewable energy and energy efficiency policies. Taylor has also worked for the American Institutes for Research (AIR), a non-profit behavioural and social sciences research organization in Washington, DC.

Taylor received his MPA in Public and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and holds dual bachelors degrees in Psychology and English from Syracuse University.
