Sara is a Researcher in E3G's Brussels office. Her work focuses on EU sustainable finance and clean economy policy.

Sara works with the finance, industry and innovation communities in Brussels and across Europe to advocate for ambitious policy reforms towards a climate-neutral and resilient economy. Her areas of expertise include sustainable finance, the decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries, and climate-related research and innovation policy.

Prior to joining E3G in 2019, Sara spent over two years at Arup in London, where she was a Consultant in energy, cities and climate change, working primarily with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, WWF, C40 Cities and local governments. Previously she had worked for the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, Baringa Partners, Shell and ExxonMobil.

Sara holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures and an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London. She has lived in Belgium, India, Spain and the UK.

In her spare time Sara enjoys doing yoga, dancing and reading.
