Policy Advisor

Erin is a Policy Advisor for E3G’s Sustainable Finance team and Public Banks Programme in E3G’s Washington, DC office. Her work focuses on ensuring that public banks, in particular Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), accelerate the transition towards a climate-safe world.

Erin’s work involves analysing and assessing policies relevant to the climate ambition of development finance institutions and MDBs. She contributes to E3G’s engagement with MDBs, their shareholder governments, and other relevant stakeholders.

Erin began her career in climate policy in New York State as the Clean Energy Fellow with the Alliance for Clean Energy New York and the Climate, Air, and Energy/Legislative Associate with the Environmental Advocates of New York. After gaining her MA in Global Environmental Policy from Boston University, Erin was a Climate Policy and Finance Intern with InterAction. Most recently, Erin worked for Boston University’s Global Development Center where she assisted in the coordination of a Task Force on Climate, Development, and the International Monetary Fund.

Erin holds an MA in Global Environmental Policy from Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies, and a BA in Political Science from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Erin enjoys traveling, field hockey, exercise, and bulldogs.
