Belinda works as a Policy Advisor on China and EU-China relations in E3G’s Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics team, based in London.

Belinda advises policymakers and civil society on their diplomatic engagement with China on climate-related topics. Working at the intersection of climate change and foreign policy, Belinda provides expert analysis on Chinese climate diplomacy and domestic policies and has been quoted in international media outlets such as Bloomberg, the Guardian, and the South China Morning Post. Belinda also works to facilitate dialogue between Chinese and European experts and policymakers on issues critical to the climate transition.

Belinda has a range of experience in EU-China climate and economic cooperation in the public, private and third sectors. Prior to joining E3G, Belinda worked as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission supporting the EU international relations on transport. Previously, she worked with China Dialogue, the Centre for Multilateral Negotiations, the China International Investment Promotion Agency of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, and the German Trade Office in Taipei. Belinda also participated in the European China Talent Programme for select young professionals with a track record on China.

Belinda holds a double master’s degree in International Affairs from the London School of Economics and Peking University and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies and Business Administration from Tübingen University.

In her spare time, Belinda enjoys exploring the outdoors, bouldering, yoga, and has a passion for (vegetarian) Chinese food.
