Annisa is a Senior Researcher in Clean Energy Finance Diplomacy, focusing on accelerating the global finance shift towards renewable energy.

Annisa leads on developing thinking and research agenda on overcoming barriers for scaling clean energy finance via major public finance institutions. She also investigates how this could support development and resilience, particularly in developing countries.

Annisa has experience working in corporate sustainability, communications, stakeholder relations, and supply chain before diving into the sustainable energy field. She had assisted teaching in Environmental and Resource Economics and Law at UCL and worked as an energy consultant in London with a focus on African countries.

Annisa holds an MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from University College London (UCL) and a BSc in Ocean Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB).

Outside of her work, she and her friends are currently building a community project to develop clean water access in a village in Bali. She also founded an independent library in Jakarta. Annisa enjoys music concerts, reading, and scuba diving in her spare time.
