Alexandra is a Senior Policy Advisor in E3G’s Washington, D.C. office. She works on our U.S.-China strategy and engagement and the international energy architecture needed for deep decarbonization and a faster energy transition.

Before joining E3G, Alexandra was the Director of Climate and Energy Security at the American Security Project, a D.C.-based national security think-tank. Previously, she served as the Special Advisor for Forward Operations to the American Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Alexandra earned a Master of Public Administration, a Master of Arts in International Relations, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Security Studies from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College.

Having grown up in Oregon, Alexandra misses nature and spends her non-work time hiking and exploring the outdoors with her dog.
