Alex is a Programme Associate at E3G. She provides programme delivery and management support to E3G’s coal transition team.
Between 2018 – 2021, Alex was Research Manager at the Grantham Research Institute, based at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In this role, she worked on the Institute’s research strategies and supported a number of pre- and post- award activities, including fundraising proposals and impact reporting.
Prior to this, Alex was Programme and Communication Manager at Climate Strategies, where she managed several research projects in the fields of climate, energy and sustainable development policy, including the international Coal Transitions programme. Project themes included just transitions in the coal sector, climate-trade policy nexus, and emissions accounting related to consumption patterns.
Alex has previously worked on sustainability projects for Keep Britain Tidy and volunteered for a climate change organisation established for students in Copenhagen. She holds a BSc in Geography from Loughborough University, and an MSc in Climate Change from the University of Copenhagen, focused on climate policy and EU environmental management.
Alex lives in the Czech Republic, and in her free time enjoys hiking, running and practising her Czech language skills.
