Tsvetelina is a Senior Policy Advisor at E3G working on EU sustainable finance, with a focus on legislative reforms at the EU level and across EU member states.

As part of the sustainable finance team, Tsvetelina advises EU institutions, national governments and a range of non-state actors on policy reforms for increased public and private sector investments in a climate-neutral economy. Her work helps divert capital flows towards assets that contribute to sustainable development.

Prior to joining E3G, Tsvetelina spent three years in the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission working on EU legislation in sustainable finance and financial innovation. Before this, she worked on international development projects in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, specialising in renewable energy and infrastructure.

Tsvetelina holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University, South Korea. Outside of work, she enjoys astronomy and science fiction, and is active in Bulgarian youth political movements.
