Frank Schroeder is a Senior Policy Advisor on global finance and economics at E3G and based in New York.

He is currently working on bringing about a new global North-South compact on climate and development financing. As part of this work he develops policy ideas to scale up mitigation finance such as regional platforms to mobilise private sector finance and guarantee mechanisms to narrow the decarbonisation investment gap in the Global South. Looking forward, he will also pick up working on identifying North-South coalitions to drive policy changes to the multilateral financing architecture that will deliver new streams of investment and finance, including working on the Bridgetown initiative.
Frank harbours a wealth of experience working in the UN system, most of it in the UN Secretary-General’s office, the BWIs, and philanthropic organizations. He holds degrees in Economics and Finance.
