Franklin’s mandate is to promote global systemic financial sector reform in support of the transition to net zero economies, working closely with civil society and campaigning organisations.

Prior to joining E3G, Franklin was an Associate Director for Governance and Political Affairs at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He has published widely in the fields of international relations, democratic reform and political economy of climate policy.

Franklin holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Columbia University, an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and an MPhil in Government from the University of Essex.

In his spare time, Frankin enjoys sailing, mountaineering and spending time with his family.
