Bruno is Policy Advisor within the Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics team based in London.

His work involves developing strategies, messaging, and coalitions to address the gap between ambition and implementation in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). He also analyses China’s role in the energy transition and climate politics in the Global South, with a focus on geopolitical dynamics and critical minerals.

Previously, among other roles, Bruno was a consultant for Chatham House’s US and the Americas Programme in London, a researcher at the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington DC, and an advisor in international strategy at the City Government of Buenos Aires, his native city.

Bruno holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics, where he wrote a dissertation on China’s energy diplomacy.

In his free time, he enjoys classical music, running, and the occasional glass of Malbec.
