17:15-20:00 | E3G-LCAW Convene: Reception at Mansion House

Later in the day, join us for a reception at Mansion House that closes out a day focused on diplomacy, energy, and delivering the transition during London Climate Action Week 2026.

It brings together guests from the State of Climate Politics Forum and the Global Energy Transition and Electrification Summit, alongside attendees from the wider Mansion House Day side events, in one of the City of London’s most iconic civic settings.

Hosted by E3G as founder of LCAW and home to its year-round secretariat, alongside the Global Renewables AllianceWe Mean Business Coalition and LinkedIn, the reception is a high-energy convening moment for political, business, finance and workforce leaders shaping the economic and energy transition.

It is also a moment to mark the diplomatic strand of London Climate Action Week, connecting London to the growing network of climate weeks and partners around the world. At a time when the pace of investment and deployment is accelerating, the reception also creates space to reflect on the people, skills and capabilities required to turn ambition into real-world delivery.

Expect drinks, canapés and good company and the time to connect and reflect on conversations from the day and LCAW’s character as an open platform for global climate action, pragmatic, solutions-focused and a moment to celebrate the relationships and progress that make climate action possible.

The evening will feature:

  • A welcome from E3G framing the themes of the day
  • The launch of LinkedIn’s UK Green Skills Report,
  • An electrification moment building on the headlines from the Global Energy Transition and Electrification Summit and the systems required to deliver it at scale
