Luke O’Callaghan-White appointed EU Energy Transition Programme Lead

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Luke O’Callaghan-White as the EU Energy Transition Programme Lead.

Luke joins us from Friends of Europe where he was Programme Manager for Climate, Energy & Sustainability. Prior to that he was a Senior Researcher with the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA), based in Ireland, and specialising in energy and climate policy.

Reflecting on his new role, Luke O’Callaghan-White shares:

“It is a real privilege to join E3G. I am delighted to be taking up this role at such an important moment for the future of energy policy, as we await the formation of a new EU mandate. I am eager to join the accomplished set of colleagues where I hope to contribute to solutions that help accelerate the clean energy transition and advance E3G’s goals of forging a safe climate for all.”

E3G was established 20 years ago. Its Brussels office is the home of most of E3G Europe’s team members working on EU energy, industry, finance, foreign policies with the objective of delivering climate safety for all.
