Energy, finance and climate diplomacy experts from the independent climate change think tank E3G will be attending the Labour party conference from September 22nd to 25th, and are available to discuss the critical role of green investment and clean power in driving the UK’s economic transformation.
With the new Labour government placing green growth at the heart of its industrial strategy, now is the moment to advance the transition to a clean energy system – to lower bills, support jobs, and boost energy security. UK green investment could be the rocket fuel that turbocharges Britain’s economic engine towards a brighter future, creating jobs, boosting innovation, and lowering bills across the country. The eyes of the world are watching for how this new government delivers at home, with the UK’s reputation as a global climate leader on the world stage at November’s COP29 hinging on its credibility as a champion of climate action.
