In 2021, the EU will embark on a wide-scale reform of policies which will determine the EU’s ability to reach climate neutrality by 2050. This factsheet gives an overview of the rhythm of EU climate politics in 2021. It identifies policy highlights as well as opportunities for civil society to ensure policy proposals are in line with the EU’s climate targets.
