Sam Mealy

Sam is currently deputy director of the banks and bonds programme at the Sunrise Project, where I help manage the programme including developing the strategy and manage the budget, look after our team's professional development and coordinate our European partners.

Sam was chief of staff at E3G before Jonny and before that a policy advisor on sustainable finance with a focus on EU sustainable finance and macroprudential regulation.
Before that he was a policy advisor at the OECD, working on development finance in the development cooperation directorate and inclusive growth in the secretary general’s office – his research background is on development finance and income and wealth inequality.
Sam have an MSc in International Politics and a B.A in History and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin.
Sam loves cooking and baking and tries to do a cookery course in any new country he visits, cycling everywhere and backpacking holidays, live music and reading fiction and history.
