Maeve Collins-Tobin
Researcher
Maeve is a Researcher for E3G’s Trade and Investment team, supporting E3G’s work on trade and climate and international investment governance.
She performs research and analysis to support E3G’s work on advancing international investment governance towards a system that supports cross-border clean energy investment as well as E3G’s work on aligning global trade and climate agendas.
Prior to joining E3G, Maeve worked for Global Affairs Canada in the International Investment Trade Policy Unit. She has also worked for the Office of the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Canada and held research roles related to renewable energy and carbon border adjustment mechanisms.
Maeve holds dual Master’s degrees in Public Policy and Sustainability, Enterprise & Environment from the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and a Bachelor’s of Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University, Canada.
In her spare time, Maeve enjoys improvised theatre and spending time outdoors.
