Kelly McGlynn
Policy Advisor
Kelly is a Policy Advisor for EU energy transition, in the EU Energy Team.
Kelly leads the delivery of the team’s work to ensure a just and well-managed gas transition in the EU.
Before joining E3G in July 2025, she was an advisor to former Irish Green member of the European Parliament (MEP), Ciarán Cuffe, where she focused on legislative developments across energy, transport, and climate topics.
Kelly has also worked as a communications consultant and an open-source intelligence editor reporting on world events. She holds an MA in International Relations, specialising in EU policymaking, from the University of Leiden, and a BA in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
She enjoys hiking, live music, and keeping up with the latest Irish literature.
