  • CEO of independent climate change think tank E3G, Nick Mabey, mas been made an OBE for services to climate change & COP26. 

Story – OBE for E3G Chief Executive Nick Mabey 

The Chief Executive Officer of independent climate change think tank E3G, Nick Mabey, has been made an OBE for “services to tackling Climate Change and supporting the UK Presidency of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26).” 

The Officer of the Order of the British Empire was announced as part of the Birthday Honours 2022 Overseas and International List on 2 June 2022. 

The Birthday Honours list recognises people who have given exceptional service to the UK abroad and internationally.

“Nick has worked tirelessly over the past few years to get climate to the top of the agenda, including making London Climate Action Week one of the largest annual climate events in the world and being one of the high-profile “Friends of COP” which helped to make COP26 such a success.”
