E3G is joining a coalition to call for sustainable heating and cooling plans ahead of the European Commission’s Fit for 55 package and as part of the implementation of the European Commission’s Renovation Wave.
Cities and regions are already making decisions every day that are critical for achieving climate neutrality and for ensuring their citizens have access to affordable warm (and cool) homes. National plans for sustainable heating and cooling, co-developed with local authorities, can accelerate the transition and help manage the social change processes that come with it.
