It is with great pleasure that we announce our Brussels office has moved.
The new E3G Brussels office is now located on the fifth floor of Rue de Commerce 124. This office might only be a few streets away from the old one, but it signifies an important change for the organisation; mirroring E3G’s rise to an independent, influential and renowned actor in EU-level politics and policy-making.
E3G began its presence in Brussels over ten years ago. In that time, we have expanded from a small team of two fitting nicely in one room to a staff of well over seven in need of more space to keep climate and energy squarely on the EU agenda. After spending six years on Rue de la Science, sharing office space with ECF, the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), BPIE, CISL, CDP, Agora Energiewende and Sandbag the old location and comradery will certainly be missed. Luckily however, the new office is in very close vicinity to new partners such as WWF, EEB and IEEP.
With the announcement of the new office location comes some other exciting news, namely two additions to the Brussels staff. We are pleased to see the secondment of London-based Senior Researcher Tom Jess, as well as the addition of new office manager and administrative assistant, Sandy Ngnidze. We are thrilled to have them both.
We will continue to thrive to carry on shaping European ambition and policies from this office, and will certainly convene more on European budget, infrastructure, energy and climate policies as well as sustainable finance. We look forward to growing our presence and staff in the EU capital – now in a space everyone can fit in.
