Taylor Dimsdale is Research Director and is currently based in the Washington, DC office. He works across several different programme areas including climate and resource security issues, energy policy related to the development of smart grids and demand side resources, international climate finance, and promoting transatlantic dialogue on climate change. He has worked at E3G since 2008.
Prior to joining E3G Taylor worked as an associate for the American Institutes for Research (AIR), a non-profit behavioural and social sciences research organisation in Washington, DC. He has also worked as a policy consultant for the International Environmental Trading Group, where he focused on environmental markets as well as analysis of renewable energy and energy efficiency policies.
In July 2007 Taylor received his MPA in Public and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE), with a concentration in environmental policy. Taylor also holds dual bachelors degrees in Psychology and English from Syracuse University.
