Sara is a Researcher in E3G's Brussels office. Her work focuses on EU sustainable finance, industrial decarbonisation and innovation policy.
Prior to joining E3G in 2019, Sara spent over two years at Arup in London, where she was a Consultant in energy, cities and climate change. Her work included developing climate, energy and sustainability strategies and practical resources for cities worldwide, working with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, WWF, C40 Cities and local governments. In addition, she developed feasibility studies for energy infrastructure projects covering the heat and electric vehicle sectors. Previously she had worked for the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, Baringa Partners, Shell and ExxonMobil.
Sara holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures and an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London. She has lived in Belgium, India, Spain and the UK. She speaks fluent French and Spanish, and basic German. When she’s not working, Sara enjoys doing yoga, dancing and reading.
