Rebekka Popp
Policy Advisor
Rebekka Popp is a Policy Advisor in E3G's Fossil Fuel Transition team. Her work focuses on the transition to a fossil free power sector in the EU.

Rebekka works with civil society, governments, and EU institutions to advance EU and national policies in support of coal phase out and Just Transition. In particular, she aims to advance the energy transition in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. She leads E3G’s activities in Central and Eastern Europe.
Before joining E3G in 2018, Rebekka was an assistant to the leaders of the Green Party’s Berlin chapter and worked on international climate policies at GIZ and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).
Rebekka holds a MA in Political Science from the University of Potsdam as well as a BA in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Mannheim.
Whenever she can, she escapes the city for bike and hiking trips.
