Leah Ford
Policy Advisor
Leah is a Policy Advisor in E3G's Washington DC office. Her role focuses on spearheading E3G’s US coal diplomacy program to promote a shift away from coal to clean energy, while leveraging the US’ international influence.

She acts as a strategic liaison between civil society, government agencies, and leaders to accelerate this shift.
Prior to E3G, Leah was an advocacy researcher at Food & Water Watch, where her work focused on climate change, fossil fuel dependency, renewable energy, factory farming, environmental justice and health. These high-quality research reports, issue briefs and fact sheets supported organizing efforts and policy advocacy on the local and federal levels.
Leah has a BA in Public Policy and Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes and watching documentaries.
