Katinka Lund Waagsaether
Senior Policy Advisor
Katinka Lund Waagsaether is a Berlin based senior policy advisor with the clean economy programme of E3G. She works within the energy and industry team, primarily focusing on steel decarbonisation.

Katinka started her career in a grassroots NGO in South Africa, after which she worked with a University of Cape Town-based climate research group. More recently, upon returning to Europe, she worked with a climate and energy transformation research group and with local government – both in the city of Bergen, Norway.
Katinka holds an MSc in environmental and geographical science and a BSc with Honours in environmental and atmospheric science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
When she is not working Katinka is generally either running or practising yoga, reading or enjoying an exhibition or a glass of wine with friends. She is also practising sitting still and doing nothing.
