Claire’s role focuses on legislative reforms at the EU level and across EU member states.
As part of the sustainable finance team, she engages with EU institutions and stakeholders to achieve policy reforms for increased public and private sector investments for a climate-neutral economy. Her work also helps divert capital flows towards assets that contribute to sustainable development.
Prior to joining E3G, Claire completed a PhD at ARENA (University of Oslo) on EU climate policy and, in particular, the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). Previously, she was a researcher in environmental policy and teaching assistant at the Université Saint-Louis Brussels.
Claire holds a MA in European Politics (Euromasters) from the University of Bath and Humboldt University Berlin, and a complementary Master’s degree in Human Rights Law from Université Saint-Louis Brussels. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Université libre de Bruxelles.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys hiking, dancing and reading. She enjoys particularly spending time in nature.
