Engaging the emerging economies in a 2 degree climate deal

DGAP, the German Council on Foreign Relations, hosted a discussion meeting on 12th November to look at the role of developing countries in a Kyoto follow-up agreement.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Reinhard Loske, Senator in Bremen, and included presentations from:

Dr. Karsten Sach, Head of the Subdepartment for International Cooperation in the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Natural Conservation and Nuclear Safety;

Jennifer Morgan, Director for Climate and Energy Security at E3G; and

Dr. Klaus Mittelbach, Head of the Department for Environment and Technology in the Federation of German Industries.
